04th Jun -School reopened after summer vacation. Total strength of students as on 29/06/2012 is 942. (Copy attached)
05th Jun- Environmental day observed
09th Jun - Collected 30 Medicinal plants and 10 flowering trees from MalayalaManorama as part of Environmental Day celebrations.
11th Jun -LKG classes started.
12th Jun - School electionconducted
13th Jun - House meeting held for various houses. Captains and Vice Captains were elected.
14th Jun - PTA executive meeting held at school. Dr. K Gopalakrishnan, Hon. Secretary BVB Kozhikode Kendra attended.
19thJun- Investiture ceremony at school.Dr.K.MadhavanKutty, Chairman BVB, Kozhikode Kendra was the Chief guest, Smt.SuseelaVijayaRaghavan, Managing committee member, Smt.Bhanumathy, Head Mistress, BBM Chalappuram, Mr.Paul Varghese, PTA President, Mr.Deepak K, PA President and Mr.SajithKumar.N.P attended.
Reading Week was conducted in the school in the form of literary Quiz, essay writing, poetry writing, completing a story and story writing competition.
22ndJun-Maths year inaugurated at school by Dr.Manikyam from school of Mathematics. Addressed the students of classes VII, VIII and IX.
23rdJun- Mathematical workshop for teachers held at school. It was conducted by Oxford University Press. Mrs.Jahnavi Mohan from Bangalore was the faculty.Maths teachers from Chevayur, BBM,Perumthiruthi and Ramanattukaraattended.
25th Jun- Love Green Club inaugurated by Professor Shobheendran. Eco club members planted saplings.
Letter No CBSE/AFF/MS-00273-1011/930910/2012/432847 dt 15-6-12 received from CBSE regarding Affiliation.
27th Jun- Principal, two teachers and 12 students of Service Club visitedthe home of mentally deficient children at VellimaduKunnu.Soaps, tooth pastes and bath towels were donated .
Day against Drug abuseobserved in the morning assembly.
Achievements:
Master RithuSekhar, Master Droupath K Manoj and KumariZiyafathimaK,of UKG were qualified for MaRRs preschool Bee National Championship 2011-12 scheduled on 14th and 15th July 2012 at Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Goa.
Master Amruth Chand(IX) was selected as SasthraPrathibha (National Level, conducted by VijanaBharathi Goa,)
Monish Mohan(VIII)begged the bronze medal in International Karate Championship, held in Japan.
Sonu Praveen (V) got 3 gold medalsatState Level in KarateChampion ship.
AbhiramiGireesh(VII) got Istprze in interschool level for Spelling Bee competition.
Master Anirudh(1X) was selected as the germ of the seed byseed Mathrubhumi.
