A warm welcome to you all !!
Bhavans P T A, Eranhikkal, was formed in 2007-08 under the able leadership of Dr.K Gopalakrishnan. He paved a strong foundation with the full support of our Parents association, a pioneer organization of parents, formed for the betterment of over all functioning of our school. Next year Adv.Vasan took over the presidentship and continued the saga to excel in its functioning.
The present PTA assumed the office in 2009 in the general body held in the school and the meeting was well attended. Hon.Chairman Dr K.Madhavan Kutty, Bhavans Kozhikode Kendra was the chief guest. Hon. Secretary Dr.Gopalakrishnan was the guest of honour.
As the president of PTA I am very glad to acknowledge the support and co-operation of the Management committee, Principal, teachers and non teaching staff ,which is remarkable and excellent. It is need less to say that my entire strength is our parents association .And I am thankful to Mr. Paul Varghese, P A president and all the committee members for their whole hearted support.
During this term with the help of P.A we could start some sports activities in our school such as Table tennis, Shuttle badminton, Karate, Roller Skating and Chess .Other activities with the help of PA include Vayanakalari, Donation of a Podium, conducting musical concert for students by Norwegian artists and the school health education programme in association with Med Vista. Our school has bagged remarkable achievements in the all Kerala Inter Bhavans cultural fest. Now I take this opportunity to congratulate our students Unnikrishnan R K and Parvathy Nambiar for securing ''Bhavans Prathibha'' and ''Bhavans Jyothi''. I also congratulate the other winners of inter Bhavans fest and the qualifiers of the state level spelling Bee contest.
This year we secured a special award from the Oisca International and our teacher Mr.Nandakumar received the award for the best co-ordinator of the district level Love Green club. Now I would like to thank our management for setting up a computer lab, Science lab, good library, providing five more plasma T.Vs to facilitate the smart class system in all classes and building a new stair case .etc. In order to reduce the crowd in the bus ,a new bus was purchased .Our Hon. Secretary Dr.K.Gopalakrishnan and Vice chairman Mr.V.U.Eradi have guided and helped us in our attempts for the CBSE affiliation.
I am grateful to our Vice chairman Col.Gopinath, Treasurer C.A.Sreehari, former PTA president Adv E K Vasan and P.A President Mr. Paul Varghese, for their support and cooperation for the smooth functioning of PTA. I would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our Head mistress Mrs. Sunitha Manikandan for her excellent support in implementing the decisions of PTA, such as Formation of subject committees, incorporating additional sports activities, successful implementation of CCE ,setting up of math and science lab, stocking the libraries with more books and furniture, introducing new school clubs like social science , philately,arts , service, health , english and other languages, ,science, maths, echo, and quiz clubs, keeping school campus plastic free zone, maintaining good discipline and over all coordination, With the support, cooperation and guidance of the entire parents of our school, Bhavans Management committee members, Principal, teachers, non teaching staff, and students ,our PTA is treading on the right path for the over all development of the school.
